Thanks for your reply. The switch is connected to firewall. On the firewall side, we often can see the interface disconnection for several seconds each time from firewall log file. so we want to see if there is disconnection on the switch log file. but now we cannot find the log file for the switch. As the disconnection time is too short, maybe it is hard to find the info.

Hi Please see the below screenshot. It looks like we only have four choices to check the historical data. If we want to check specific one hour of Historical data of past last month, is it possible? Or can we get the exact info like cisco log. thank you

Meraki switch is connected to firewall. On the firewall, we can see the connection to the switch has flip from its log. the downtime is just about 5 min, but this kind of thing happens everyday. But on the Switch side, we can see nothing abnormal. My question is whether we find the log record in the switch which can tell the switch also is impacted due to firewall disconnection? Thank you

Currently the new switch is first Meraki at this location, all our network are non Meraki network at this location. Is it possible to see dashboard? I guess it is possible if it is connected to internet, right? The new Meraki is MX450 If the new switch is plugged into Cisco switch, do you think the cisco switch port require special configuration?

Hi I am trying to setup a static ip address for the new switch. but i am stuck at the step 2 below. i cannot open the page setup.meraki.com. any one has suggestion for this? i connect the switch to my laptop with RJ 45. is this good cable? thank you Setting up a Static IP Address To ensure that the client PC is redirected to the local web service in the following step, you must disable all other network services (ex: wi-fi) on your client machine. Do the following to configure basic connectivity and other networking parameters: Using a client machine such as a laptop, connect to the management port of the MX. Using a browser on the client machine, access the appliance's built-in web service by browsing to http://setup.meraki.com. (You do not have to be connected to the Internet to reach this address) Click Uplink configuration under the Local status tab. The default credentials use the device serial number as the username, with a blank password field. Choose Static for the IP Assignment option. Enter the IP address, subnet mask, default gateway IP and DNS server information.

Hi there are three meraki switches A, B and C with full connection for each one. My question is whether there is the same spanning tree mechanism as Cisco general switch? for example, If switch A is root, and port at switch B connected to switch A is designate port, the port at switch C connected to A would be blocked?
