Dear All, I will soon deploying Meraki MS120-8FP switch and AP with our customer, the uplink will be connecting through sfp 1G transceiver to huawei switch 1000 base sx sfp, and later this huawei switch will be replaced with MS210-24P, but it will be in phase 2, i would like to know which transrecever will be compatible for current Huawei and MS210-24P that will be used as well as the Fiber cable, any help would be appreicated Best Regards, Keith

i checked in Radius side the AP has permitted in the server, and other endpoint could successfully connected to the internal SSID, the radius authentication has passed, its only sometime i see such unauthentcation log appear for this AP, i could perform a packet capture to the radius to see any abnomral issue

Dear All, I'm currently facing an issue with one AP in our customer's site, one AP has the following warning with specific ssid, whereas the rest of the AP do not have such issue, i have ran the radius test in the portal, but all of them has passed the radius authentication test, also i have tried to look for the NPS radius server logs, i couldn't find any authentication failure related, any help would be appreicated Keith

yes i remembered there is private mac address enabled by default in IOS devices, and i been googled and see there is a way to turn off MAC Randomization under "system manager" in meraki dashboard, but i didn't find this tab, any idea where it is located ? Thanks

Dear All, I have a question would like to ask regarding on the ssid i create by using "open" security with splash page settings, and the splash behavior have set to every 2 hours, and our customers reported that after they connected to this ssid, and they need to manual reconnect the ssid in with landing pages popup again in order to re-connect after they close the screen on their phone, but the connected time is still not yet reached 2 hours, any idea why i need to connect it again ? any help would be appreicated Keith

Dear All, I have a question would like to seek for help, i have recently added a meraki renewal license into the dashboard, and for some reason i revert the license, and i tried to add a license into the dashboard again, its said the key is invalid, and i seen this issue in the past, i remembered the new license key can be found in another area but i forgot where it is, can someone tell me where i can found the new licesne key in dashboard ? for example a MR76 that has 4 x 4 MIMO, if there are 5 x devices with 3 antennas connecting to it, 5 of the devices will has a speed of 300 Mbps ? will this speed will decrease if more devices connecting at the same time ? so the bottleneck will be the lan adapter of MR76 ? if the lan switch are using 1 giga ethernet ?

Yes it’s the throughout I want to talk about not the data rate, as we will have a meeting with our customer to propose to use MR36 ratter than MR44, due to budget issue. mr36 support 2.4ghz 2:2x2 and 5Ghz 2:2x2 whereas mr44 support 2.4Ghz 2:2x2 and 5Ghz 4:4x4 Need to explain to customer if they are using mr36 for 2.4ghz. The performance are still ok compared to mr44 on 2.4Ghz, just wonder if you can provide me the overhead of this ? Thanks

Dear All, I have a question would like to ask on MR44, for MR44 2.4Ghz is using 2:2x2 and 5Ghz is using 4:4x4, for instance there are 8 endpoints connecting to 5Ghz at the same time, will the data rates for endpoints will get slower compared to have 4 endpoints connecting to 5Ghz at the same time ? i have an example below, please correct me if my concept is wrong, Thanks case1: 600Mbps for 4: 4 x 4 - if there are 4 endpoints connecting to 5Ghz, the data rates for each endpoint will be 150Mbps case2: 600Mbps for 4: 4 x 4 - if there are 8 endpoints connecting to 5Ghz, the data rates for each endpoint will be 75Mbps

i just disabled load balancing, may i ask if i enable load balacning, how many max connectivity endpoint can be connected to the AP ? also i changed the minimun bitrate from 12 to 24, does it means legacy devices will not be able to connect to the wifi like 802.11b ?

I see the outlook of FP, it’s stated is 1u rack mount but I don’t see front mount panel for this model, so I need to get 3rd party mount kit in order to mount into the rack ? or this model contain rack mount kit ? Thx for your help

one more question on below models, i see for mount type on the following models, 8FP is 1u rack mount whereas 8LP is not, but i check the datasheet that they are the similar size, but why for 8FP is state as 1u rack mount, may i have the official mount kit details for 8FP ? thanks a lots MS120-8LP MS120-8FP
