that would be a good add in if you have a lot of high value items in the coolers and it will alert when the door get's left open or even worst if it breaks down. good use for a commercial kitchen

i have turned on Port scheduling on the Meraki switches and turning off devices that are not used outside of business hours. Come on who needs to have these on when no one is there. If there is a big project where people are working late, a quick notice to us and we can adjust. The biggest take away is spinning this as a "green" measure to reduce energy use and most people will buy in.

was asked to look at a wireless access point issue, and determined that it was a bad config file so i asked the onsite tech to do a pin hole reset on the WAP, i described what it looks like and i got a lot of yeah yeah, i got it. next thing i know, he reset the the switch and blew away the config file, spend the next 2 hours rebuilding the config. nothing like pressure doing it remotely too , thank goodness for cloud managed devices now.
