Yeah. I would open up a case because that issue seems odd. They will definitely send you another unit. Had an MR once that no matter what you did to it it will never update config but SSID's were broadcasting but never connected. #cloudstruggles

Check the minimum bitrate of your SSID.

As @BrechtSchamp mentioned try the restore first and see what happens. I've even had situations where Air Marshall will block SSID because the AP came up a few minutes after the others. Odd.

@jdsilva I appreciate the comment but that isn't what he had asked. Nothing to do with stopping failover. Just an FYI. He said he wanted to stop clientx from going out a WAN connection. Can that WAN IP not be blocked? Hi I have an MX64 connected to the internet with 2 uplinks. One of them is a metered connection so I do not want client x to use the specified internet connection. But other clients can use both of them. How can I configure this configuration? I know you can do it with a cellular connection but I do not find it for Internet 1 and Internet 2

I would test that. Since it's a non-Meraki I'm not sure the roaming wouldbe seamless but it would be something good to know/try. That part I haven't tried since I only have MR AP's.

Sometimes it will take a while to kick in. It does that to me sometimes. If you see your AP is up and functional, it shouldn't be a problem.

So weird thing happened Tuesday which I brushed off and was like Eh. Users were reporting getting kicked off wifi and re-associating. So I went to check it out and stood there till I saw it happen. I looked at the AP and in channel it said Radar detected and it was trying to switch to another channel. Mind you I caught it quick and without thinking forgot to take a screenshot or remember exactly what it said and rebooted AP. Now I have DFS channels excluded already so why is it still triggering? Also an fyi we are around the area of an air force base 4.4 miles and I feel as if sometimes it's only that building that gets affected and only sometimes. Happened Tuesday might not happen till 2 months from now. Any thoughts?

If you click on Tools tab on the specific switch there's a button there. "MAC forwarding table" Hit Run.

Why use VRRP if you're already stacking? In a warm spare MS configuration, VRRP will be leveraged to exchange heartbeats and determine if the warm spare should take over when the primary fails. But if you just create a physical stack, and stagger your devices (especially any dual-homed devices) across multiple switches in a physical stack, that tends to meet the majority of use-cases. You can also do cross-stack LACP so if you're uplinking/downlinking to other switches or switch stacks, that works too. Double check this doc https://documentation.meraki.com/MS/Layer_3_Switching/MS_Warm_Spare_(VRRP)_Overview to see if it's really what your requirements dictate as opposed to physical stacking, and let us know if something's not clear.
