@GJ1 Don't mean to sound annoying but iPhones were having wifi issues with an update that when they leave an AP area's connection "Auto Login" is disabled so if they leave an area they will be d/ced just an fyi.

Cameras are the what we want to concentrate on for this year. They have worked so well for us and keep improving as the time passes. We have also implemented card access for the server rooms and are still trying out different scenarios for the MV32's.

The option was never there to assign a static address to the camera. DHCP reservation is best bet.

I would just keep the VLANs all in MX and have the MS225 provide the routing. Just make static routes on the MX from the switches IP's that you set.

Agreeing with @Nash please reboot all AP's whenever there's downtime either by one offs starting with affected APs. See if this fixes the issue. It might be something wacky after the update. 👾

Is your SSID on 2.4 and 5 Ghz? I've had issues where some phones couldn't see SSID because someone had changed it to 5 Ghz only from the "RF profile" Just a thought.

You should still be fine to create the VLANs as long as DHCP isn't running for the whole 192.168.0.0/16 subnet.

Authorization just means that he is allowed to enter the network. The splash frequency should ask every 24 hours to authenticate the user but as far as that goes you have it so that the user is "auto" authorized upon registration. If you want to un-authorize it would be a manual thing.

@Son Authorized will just mean he has access to go into the SSID in question. The "No" flag would not allow access.

If you create a "Network Wide" / "group policy" you can tag a VLAN there. After that is created you can assign the policy by MAC address of the client like so:

You can use your MX and assign WAN2 another public IP. Then create a VLAN and assign it's subnet to WAN2 via SD-WAN. From there you just use vlan tagging for the SSID you're going to create.
