I have read the https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/WiFi_Basics_and_Best_Practices/Multi-SSID_Deployment_Considerations I currently have 3 SSID. They reside on every AP. A Guest ( own VLAN) Existing Internal. ( uses PSK) ( own VLAN) Legacy. ( for 2.4hghz devices.) (own VLAN) (uses PSK). I am in the process of bringing up a radius solution with WPA2 Enterprise. Is the 3 SSID a valid HARD limit? ANy suggestions are appreciated as allways

Very good note. I moved to Google DNS as well. Since I was using my both ISP DNS servers but SDWAN was trying to send my DNS queries out one ISP and when DNS entered the other it fails so I was getting dns slips. BUT works correctly on Lan but not WIFI

Seeking a quick start document for basic subnet firewalling WAN1 / WAN2 / Site to SIte VPNS/ Client VPNs MX250 HA VLAN A VLAN B VLAN C Goal Stop inter VLAN for A and B Permit VLAN A AND VLAN B. Kandji support states One thing I did notice that may be a lead on why Meraki is reporting names/UUIDs improperly is that the first two computers you listed are running macOS 11 while the second set that you state show UUID on wifi are on macOS 12. I suggest following that thread with Meraki to see if there's some aspect there that is contributing to your scenario.

our MDM is KANDJI. They say the issue is how MERAKI orders the device identification. The Device on LAN identifies correctly. MACOS host name The Device on WIFI identifies as the UUID. I believe this occurred either with the latest MACO OS upgrades or Migrating to KANDJI from JAMF Has anyone else seen this LAN vs WIFI MACOS device identification for clients?

I would like to have reservations for all LAN based devices in my network. I have 5 vlans = 5 subnets I wish to reserve / static allocation 128 addresses per subnet. In summary about 600 reservations Does the MX250 have any reservation limitations?

I currently have 2 ISPs connected to WAN1 and WAN2. Recent fiber cut left the network without Internet for 26 hours. I understand network fiber diverse pathing however this was catastrophic and a once in a very not so often event. Can the the MG41 with 2 ethernet connections be added to my MX250 1 gig interfaces ( GbE 3-10) ?

Like everyone else there is a concern regarding Mac clients and the UUID. 100% or our Macbooks only use wireless. I noticed that Mac Minis and when my Macbook is connected to an MS switch via ethernet the Proper name appears in the dashboard. Has anyone else discoved this? Any ideas if it is a MACOS wifi client issue or a knob in my SSID that needs to be turned? Thank you

Vlan 32 is new and will support layer 3. It is added via the MX250 not the switches.
