Is your custom splash page (hosted externally I am assuming) "whitelisted" so that users have permission to access it?

You do realise the "Z" series is primary for telecomuters to provide access via AutoVPN back to some centralised resource? As such, it doesn't really need to be that fast. It does not support any of the advanced security features, like AMP. If you want actual security features you should be using the MX series - and they come in a whole range of different throughputs.

It sounds like your clients are not coping with roaming requests when the channel changes. I would try going Wireless/Radio Settings and creating a new RF profile based of one of the options that comes up in the wizard. Then apply that profile to the APs.

Just make sure the voice vlan is included in the VLAN and it should work fine.

I thought @BrothersTM did such a good job describing switch port tagging thjat I decided to do a follow up on switch ports and using the search "language" for finding things. I work on lots of different customer networks, and while tags are great, I can't possibly remember the tags being used by all the different people who ask me to look at their network. Hence the need for good searching.

Today I am sick in bed with a viral lung infection. Microsoft released a security update for the Windows 10 RDP client, which broke an application one of my clients uses. So I just needed to get it fixed as fast as I could so I could go back to bed. The client has a distributed work force across the country with no central office, and contacting each of the individual people and arrange a time to fix their machines and then doing the fix would have taken a huge amount of time. Systems Manager to the rescue!

Have you considered configuring an SSID for pre-paid billing, and then just printing out 2,000 pre-paid tokens? You can make the value $0. https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/Splash_Page/Configuring_a_Prepaid_Card_Billing_SSID#Generating_Prepaid_Codes Personally if it was me, I think I would just make it open authentication (assuming it is only Internet access) and forget authentication.

It sounds like you might have Windows Firewall enabled, which blocks ping outside of your local subnet.

So the two existing systems were 100% independent with con connection between them (apart from the Internet). And your new configuration is the same? If they are completely independent then there should be no issue. It sounds like there is actually some kind of link between these two networks.

No there is not. You would need to make your own back to back API that removed what you did not want passed on.
