The way to achieve this is to use, one creating a NEW ADE profile, is to use the Enrollment Redirect URL If you've got Enrollment Auth turned on and Azure Configured, then you'll get this as an option Note: I've got OpenID connect with Azure configured, not azure natively, but it does work

Managed app config is undocumented and I'm surprised that it's still working. This could be the reason that you are having mixed results. If you've found how to configure safari on apple.com please provide the link.

If you go to Systems Manager > Owners in the Meraki Dashboard: This is where your users would "exist". Of course, you could also use Azure / AD / Suite / SAML and OpenID Connect to by going to Systems Manager > General > End User Authentication settings

Assuming that each account is known to SM, you can actually log in and out using the SM app. This will give you an experience similar to what you are used to. However, it's doesn't completely replicate the ability to have multiple accounts What's the use case?

The ability to Manage Safari through managed app config hasn't worked properly in years. If you do get it working, well done! In fact, it's so broken, the use case of putting a device in to Single App Mode / Kiosk Mode has created a small industry of companies that provide manageable web browsers (based on web kit) A web search of "kiosk web browser iOS" will bring back a whole host of companies that can provide this (with a suitable fee, of course) However, if you're so inclined, creating your own web browser app on iOS with Xcode should take you no more than an hour, two hours if you wish to include managed app config

As both the school.apple.com or business.apple.com website UI has changed, as well as Meraki, I thought I'd take the opportunity to redo the process to add an iPhone retrospectively to ADE https://youtu.be/SADA0eMmLAc You may want to do this if you have either new or existing iOS devices which are not in ADE : You may have bought them directly from Apple retail, from a reseller who doesn't support ADE or they may even have been acquired second hand. For this you'll need: A Mac Apple Configurator Meraki Systems Manager Either school.apple.com or business.apple.com access with the required role for adding devices And a little time!

" There's no requirement for any Cisco hardware to use Systems Manager. It can be used completely in isolation 2. There are several enrollment options available to you: Where your company owns the device, you can use things like Apple's ADE ( https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204142 and https://documentation.meraki.com/SM/Device_Enrollment/Apple_Automated_Device_Enrollment_(ADE) ) or Android Zero Touch (https://documentation.meraki.com/SM/Device_Enrollment/Android_Zero-Touch_Enrollment ) . Where you are considering BYOD (where the end user owns the device, then the user can enrol using the Systems Manager enrollment portal ( https://documentation.meraki.com/SM/Device_Enrollment/Enrollment_and_Self-Service_Portals_for_Systems_Manager ) 3. Yes, this is indeed possible. 1. Create a new Setting and ensure that this is a USER profile 2. Add a restriction that, say, disables the camera 3. Under Targets, change this to point to a user tag (Say an AD one, or in the case below, an ASM Class of students) Your camera, after a few minutes, should now be disabled

1. You can't use a mix of custom apps and google play apps in Kiosk Mode. You must choose one or the other. 2. If you have the requirement for both, then you MUST upload your custom app to Google play as a developer, and then add it back into SM Now, the one thing that has just struck me: Have you actually installed the app on the device too? Without the app installed, it can't go into Kiosk Mode

Lots to get through here: Firstly, Education profiles have to be assigned to a Mac as a User profile, not Device. That's the first caveat But, the issue that I can't seem to find is how to get students to be able to log into the Mac, just like you do with a shared iPad: That bit alludes me I think the answer to that will probably be to have students and teachers as apple managed users in school.apple.com, or to federate with GSuite and Azure I'll keep searching but I think that's the answer for the moment Paul

You can do either custom apps OR google play apps The solution is to sign up as a developer for Android, and add your custom app into Google Play, and, then, be able to see the app when adding the app in SM: https://support.google.com/a/answer/2494992?hl=en

Solution to this is available from the Devices page Select the device(s) where you want to refresh the management profile. Click Command Then refresh Management profile
