Where and how are you blocking the client? Please correct me if I’m wrong but you can only block using an MX or MR. If you don’t have the above the dashboard allows you to block or whitelist the client but it’s not enforced.

TCAM/ERROR ^^ it looks like your buddy just attended one of Merakis webinars whereby you’ll receive an AP. If he wishes to carry on using the device he’ll need to procure a new license. Those that have received an AP, switch and MX have attended the CMNA training.

Hi All, Can anyone please explain this anomaly: - client had previously Blacklisted a range of clients following an incident - When trying to place the clients back on the network we set them to Forget then manually added them back in with the Normal policy applied - After this the clients were still unable to access the network - within the client list the client was still showing as Blocked despite them having the Normal policy applied,. Further testing we simply set the clients from Blacklisted to Normal and they came straight on. Whats different with the Forget policy? Cheers

I need that T-Shirt as it’ll match the sticker I have on my laptop 😁 We’re currently working on a proposal to replace a clients firewall estate. It will of course include numerous MX’s from the MX68 upto the MX250’s. The deployment will be tied in with Umbrella and AMP. Customer already has Meraki MR’s and MS’s so looking to complete the full-stack.

Skimming through this I’m assuming we’re talking about the Management vlan? As a stack each switch will require an IP address in the management vlan with its dfg being the firewall. As as mentioned by cmr we’ve done numerous installs with this setup.
