Hi @KirkM , are you setting the mgmt IP via the mgmt port or via the dashboard? We’ve had some funnies in the past where setting via the dashboard the settings would take effect.

Hi @KirkM , our approach would be to configure the Meraki device management vlan on your firewall. Patch your new Meraki devices into them and let them register out. Assuming to have all your VLANs and IP sublets documented. During an outage Window disconnect your existing core off the network. Replace with new core. Configure VLANs, IP subnets and switchport configs.

Hi @Tehsin , firstly, is the MX registered out to the cloud and operational? Are you using DDNS on the MX, are you connecting in via host name or IP? https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/Other_Topics/Dynamic_DNS_(DDNS) Are you seeing the vpn traffic hit your internet interface on the MX? You should be able to see this via a packet capture. if you’re not seeing that traffic your net gear may need to be configured with port forwarding for the vpn traffic. Ports 500 and 4500

You’ve not read the original post @Maclanta The question was can we use a 1Gbps Transceiver in a 10Gbps port. Hi @redsector As mentioned by @KarstenI each MX requires a separate IP address and you'll also require a third for VRRP between the two devices. Do you have a couple of Layer 3 switch's to hand (stackable)? Place these infront of your MX's. Terminate your single ISP connection into these. Create a /29 subnet/VLAN (anything smaller and you won't have enough IP's) i.e 10.10.10.0/29 and assign as per below. 10.10.10.1 SVI on switch 10.10.10.2 MX1 WAN interface 10.10.10.3 MX2 WAN interface 10.10.10.4 VRRP Make 10.10.10.1 your MX dfg Not ideal but gives you your MX High availability.

Hi @awadkhider connect your PC to the MX management port via Ethernet cable. Set your PC to get an IP via DHCP then browse to the IP of the default gateway that you’re assigned. You’ll be asked to enter a username and password. The username is the device serial number. No need to enter a password.
