Which Public Cert for RADIUS?

As many of you may already know, Google Pixel phones will no longer authenticate with RADIUS using an internal Cert. So I suppose will need to reach out to a vendor and purchase a public Cert i.e. GoDaddy et al.  Have any of you had any luck with this and if so, which Cert did you purchase?  We really want it to work with Windows, iOS, and Android.

Can you install your private CA certificate on the phone to make it trust it?
