Hello,
we have a printer (2.4GHz required) that can't connect to MR42. no firewall rules. below is the summary of settings. on the printer forum, people uncheck uncheck 20/40MHz Coexistence and it works out. Per Meraki support, there is no 20/40 spectrum under 2.4GHz. What else can we try out here please? Thank you.
Hi ,
Can you share the rest of the SSID config ?
Is 802.11W enabled ?
Hi,
Yes. Please see below.
Did you check the logging for errors?
Could you try without 802.11 w/r
Could you try without band steering
where to check logging for errors?
how to check out 802.11 w/r?
it is already without band steering..
Network wide > event log > for access points
And
Wireless > health > select ssid for printer
Ssid settings:
Network wide > event log > for access points no logs for the specific device
And
Wireless > health > select ssid for printer shows blank
Ssid settings: we don't have 802.11r/w separated options, only 802.11w is available.
Disabled 802.11w and the printer shows connection successfully but when testing it. it says “failed to connect to the router".. now it shows IP and MAC. Should i add them to the router setting? if so, where it at?...
It looks like the ssid still talks to the 802.11 but can't see where 802.11r is...
Below is the connection log. What else can we try?
I think wifi works. But it Looks like a dhcp server or client issue now.
How to fix it please?
