Outdoor Wifi 6e AP CW9163E-MR Available

https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/MR_Installation_Guides/CW9163E-MR_Installation_Guide

The marketing pages haven't posted yet on cisco.com or meraki.cisco.com (it's dual identity) but it's available to order.

A number of caveats with regards to 6Ghz actually running because of regulatory stuff, Details in the doc.

Regardless, if you are working on outdoor coverage you can at least be a little bit more forward ready now and have the hardware.

Note that 6Ghz is ONLY available for WPA3 networks, for any AP, or any vendor.  6Ghz does not work for WPA2.

I guess you won't technically be allowed to install this AP in ETSI area for now since it has external antenna ports.

It likely is allowed as the 6 GHz radio is default disabled and will be enabled only based on regulatory availability. For ETSI, I would likely still choose the MR86, although the CW 9163E is fascinating. But in the EU, the device will likely go through the next refresh cycle before the EU approves it ...
