To disable a mobile hotspot connected to Meraki Wireless, you'll need access to the Meraki dashboard. Here’s how you can do it:
Log in to the Meraki Dashboard:
Open your web browser and go to the Meraki dashboard login page.
Enter your credentials to access the dashboard.
Navigate to the Wireless Network:
In the dashboard, select the network that the mobile hotspot is connected to.
Go to the Wireless section.
Identify the Mobile Hotspot:
Go to the Clients tab under the Wireless section to see a list of all connected devices.
Find the mobile hotspot in the list. You can search by MAC address, IP address, or device name.
Disable or Block the Device:
Once you’ve identified the mobile hotspot, click on it to open the device details.
From there, you can block the device by selecting Policy and choosing Block.
Alternatively, you can go to the Access Control settings and create a group policy that blocks mobile hotspots.
Save and Apply Changes:
Make sure to save the changes, and the mobile hotspot will be disconnected or blocked from the Meraki Wireless network.
