Meraki dashboard showing device down but it is really up.

There is a MS220-48LP switch that is red and showing "unreachable for about 6 hours" in the Meraki dashboard.  However, the connectivity is showing green for the day.  It pings until the graph is showing about 3/4 of the way finished, then it just stops and does nothing.

Any ideas on what is going on?

What firmware is the device running? If possible force reboot and see if it comes right?

Have you changed anything on the devices config before this started happening?

The firmware is  MS 9.32.

The switch is in production so I can't reboot it during business hours.

No changes have been made to the config.

Other devices on the network are fine?  May be worth starting a constant ping from one of the devices in the network to 8.8.8.8 or something to see if there are possibly intermittent internet issues upstream.

The switch is now showing up. This is bizarre!
Is it possible to do a constant ping from the dashboard? If so, how is it done?
All the other devices are looking good. No issues with them.

One thing I did notice.  When the switch was showing down, the connectivity bar was solid green. Now that the switch is back up, the connectivity bar is showing about 20 -25 1 minute bounces through the day.

Not possible to do a constant ping from the dashboard.  But it feels like you are probably having legitimate intermittent connectivity issues.  If you have a device at one of those sites it would be worth setting up a ping monitor to verify.
