MR55 3rd radio WIDS/WIPS capabilities

The datasheet does not mention the following:

Is the 3rd radio for WIDS/WIPS 8x8 or 4x4?

Does the 802.11a/n/ac/ax convention apply to it?

Kind of a big deal

@FlyingFrames It mentions 4 radios:

Radios

  • 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g/n/ax client access radio
  • 5 GHz 802.11a/n/ac/ax client access radio
  • 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz dual-band WIDS/WIPS, spectrum analysis, and location analytics radio
  • 2.4 GHz Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) radio with Beacon support
  • Concurrent operation of all four radios

It also mentions the Capabilities

802.11ax compatible, 802.11ac Wave 2, and 802.11n Capabilities

  • DL-OFDMA, TWT support
  • 8×8 multiple input, multiple output (MIMO) with 8 spatial streams
  • 4×4 multiple input, multiple output (MIMO) with 4 spatial streams
  • SU-MIMO and DL MU-MIMO support
  • Maximal ratio combining (MRC) and beamforming
  • 20 and 40 MHz channels (802.11n)
    20, 40, and 80 MHz channels (802.11ac Wave 2)
  • Up to 1024 QAM on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands
  • Packet aggregation

What are you looking for that isn't covered in the specs? As it might be covered in the datasheet as well.

If the 3rd radio is a cheaper 2x2 radio, it might not be able to do its functions of scanning properly! So wanted to know its specs.

Based on the above its a Rx only radio for 2.4 & 5 both.

It looks like its 1 stream only in RX. Would this be able to successfully decode 11ax transmissions.
