MR42 Has never connected to the Meraki cloud

Hi,

We recently installed an AP on a new site, but it could not connect to the Meraki Cloud. The error message - "Has never connected to the Meraki cloud" shows up in the dashboard.

We thought it might be an internet connection issue, but the signal light on the AP is green. It should be connected to the internet properly.

Any clue on what happened?

Thanks.

Factory reset it.

After that, If you sure  its connected to internet you could call meraki support.

Have you tried factory resetting the AP?

Does it advertise an SSID in its current state?

If the dashboard has never seen it then the device has never touched the cloud.
