IPv6 over wireless mesh not working

Hello,

is there any news or a date on a roadmap when IPv6 will be implemented for meshed APs?
It is very difficult to explain to a customer why a wired AP works fine and a meshed AP is a nightmare because resolved hostnames cannot be reached with IPv6.

Just looked and while firmwares 28, 29 and 30 all included additional IPv6 supported features, 31 doesn't add anything for IPv6...

That is not Meraki like. 😑

Any news?

It is difficult to argue why IPv6 (the future) cannot be used with a Meraki AP in mesh design.

The ultimate showstopper is when an SSID uses IPv6 on a campus, which works on directly connected APs and you then roam to a mesh AP. boom....your IPv6 is broken

Get rid of the mesh an run an Ethernet Cable to the AP. Mesh sucks no matter who makes it.  Local power is nasty and ugly for any APs and should be avoided.

If you need fiber run it and set up new closets for copper with tried and full duplex Ethernet with PoE.

I agree with @TBHPTL, mesh should only be used for backup, or not at all!
