Changing Authentication to WPA2

Hello

We want to change the encryption mode to WPA2 which is currently setup as WPA1 and WPA2. My question is what will be the impact of this on end users. We have lot of devices in the network and i am concerned that changing the encryption method will disconnect all the wireless clients. If yes then do the end clients need to enter the passphrase again to connect to the SSID. Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Hi @GQ 

The devices will de-auth and then reconnect. The users shouldn’t have to re-enter the pass phrase again.

@GQ  Obviously if you have any clients that don't support WPA2 then they will be dropped from the network. Unless you are using Windows XP or some ancient Linux dist then I can't see you have any issues.
