CW9178I Running 2 x Ethernet Ports LACP not coming back on line after upgrading firmware.

I have a CW9178i  Connected to a MS150 on two 5G ethernet ports  The AP and the Ports running LACP.  All works well except when you upgrade the firmware...  the AP does not come back online...  when you check the switch the first port gets disabled by LACP  and the AP hangs and never joins the cloud.  A power cycle does not fix.  to get it back you need to disable the LACP pair and disable the second port.  The AP comes on line.   You can then enable the second port and set to LACP  and all works again.   It would be nice if this was not required !!!

I notice I need to set the AP to "Link Aggregate:   Enabled"  once it is back on line  could it be that this setting goes back to disabled after SW upgrade  ???

Any ideas why this happens...

I have also noticed that there are no port profiles for this model  AP

There is no 2-port with USB ?

Also  when running the AP on  1 port Port 0

Getting noticed

I've seen this as well for a while now in the dashboard for the "new" view where it's enabled but parts of the new UI show disabled still but the settings show correctly enabled. Very annoying.

Kind of a big deal

I think at least your port profile is ok as it is "1 (additional) port and USB".

Arr  this make perfect sence now  "Additional"   and for the hospitality AP too.  They should make this more clear...
