2.4GHZ devices can connect to 5ghz?

If we turnoff 2.4ghz, is there any negative consequences, that  devices not supporting 5Ghz can connect to network or not?

Devices that do not support 5Ghz will not connect to the network, as they are different frequencies.

Yes you won't be able to use them.

We go rid of 2.4GHz a long time ago. I can honestly say its has made the world a much better place. Have only had 2 complaints in 5 years.

You could first have a try to reduce the radio power of 2.4GHz and enable band steering. If you still have one or two clients with 2.4 GHz, you could contact them. Or you could cut them out by disable the frequenzy 🙂
