Hi all,

I'm in need of help understanding and setting up VLANs on my network.

I currently have an MX68 Security & SD-WAN appliance, an MS120-8LP switch, and an MR33 access point.

I find myself getting confused regarding VLANs. 😭

Could someone please guide me with this, please? 🙏🏽 I'd appreciate it very much!!

Hi @Shadius , firstly, have a read through this document

Let’s say you want to configure a Voice and Data VLAN on your network.  With your setup I would configure the VLAN interfaces on the Mx.  So you would have something like:

Voice VLAN (VLan iD 10) Subnet, MX IP

Data VLAN (VLAN ID 20) Subnet, MX IP

Connect your MX to your switch via a Trunk and allow both VLANs.

on your switch allow the VLANs required on a per port basis
