Let’s say you want to configure a Voice and Data VLAN on your network. With your setup I would configure the VLAN interfaces on the Mx. So you would have something like:
Voice VLAN (VLan iD 10) Subnet 192.168.10.0/24, MX IP 192.168.10.1
Data VLAN (VLAN ID 20) Subnet 192.168.20.0/24, MX IP 192.168.20.1
Connect your MX to your switch via a Trunk and allow both VLANs.
on your switch allow the VLANs required on a per port basis
