Switch Port Profiling Needs Updating!!!!!!

I have a request for the Meraki Product Team. Will you please fix the UI so that when I edit a switch port to have a port profile, it updates the switchport mode and the VLAN ID on the switchport overview page with that of the port profile. If I have a switchport profile called User with mode access and VLAN ID 10, it should reflect that on the overview page rather than saying the default of "trunk" and "native 1".

You can give your feedback on the dashboard.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Please, if this post was useful, leave your kudos and mark it as solved.

^^ This but even providing feedback has been watered down, you use to be able to include screenshots / attach files but thats a thing of the past now.

True, true.  This issue was flagged right from the beginning and it is strange it has still not been fixed.  That's the reason why I refuse to work with port profiles and the automations that can go with it because dashboard does not give the up to date information.

The switch behaves correctly in all cases also with the automations but dashboard simply shows the default port config.
