Stacking and replacement

Hello,

I want to replace a stack member with 48 ports by a stack member with 24 ports.

What will happen in that kind of a situation with the port configurations?

MS225-48FP ==> MS225-24P

Regards,

Henk

@Henk1961 I think you can only replace like for like, you will have to simply add the 24 port switch as a new switch and then remove the 48 port one.

Hi @Henk1961 , @cmr is correct you can only clone and replace like for like switches.  It’s only a single switch so doing this manually will be simple and straightforward
