Kind of a big deal

Here's the recommended configuration for non Meraki switches:

https://documentation.meraki.com/MS/Port_and_VLAN_Configuration/Recommended_Configuration_for_Trunk_...

I believe the vlan configuration commands on the SG series are the same as catalyst, but you can check here:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/smb/switches/cisco-small-business-300-series-managed-swit...

Then there's the aspect of spanning tree. Meraki doesn't support MSTP so it's best to stick to standard RSTP:

https://documentation.meraki.com/MS/Port_and_VLAN_Configuration/Configuring_RSTP_for_interoperabilit...

I have a feeling your new Meraki switches are quite central to the network so they're likely good root bridge candidates.

Cli config of RSTP on the SG500:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/smb/switches/cisco-small-business-300-series-managed-swit...

Hope that helps!

I agree with nearly everything @BrechtSchamp  says, except this.

Cisco Enterprise switchers run RSTP per VLAN, while Meraki runs it "as per the standard" in a single instance.  It don't know if the SG500 runs multiple instances like Cisco Enterprise, or single instance.

MSTP however in all cases runs a single instance, and is 100% compatibile with Cisco Meraki MS running RSTP.  Consequently I tend to use MSTP on third party switches for greater compatibility.

@PhilipDAth The SG run standard RSTP not PVST or PVST+. So their RSTP is identical to Meraki's hence why I would prefer to use standard RSTP

I only have access to VLAN 1, I configured port 1 as uplink to MS350 and trunk allowed vlan 1 to 18. what am I doing wrong?

What do you mean you only have access to VLAN1?

When I changed the native vlan to a port it can't reach DHCP server.

I want to configure different VLANs in every port, but just VLAN 1 works.

So you have a trunk with all vlans allowed on port 1, and if you set another port to access for any vlan other than 1 your device doesn't get an IP address?

What DHCP server are you using? Is it correctly configured for the vlans? How is the setup? Trunk to the DHCP server or are you using relay?

Yes, the SG500 has a port connected to Meraki MS350 in trunk mode with vlan 2 to 18 and 100 allowed. The MS relay to an Active Directory DHCP server. When I ping the gateway (IP 10.10.100.254 from Meraki) cant communicate. Can you explain me the correct configuration and setup?

Well I followed the documents you send me before (sorry for that) I configured a SVI with its IP, gateway, Vlan database, and vlans. But gateway does not respond, and just VLAN 1 works.
