Reconfigure my Meraki MS220-8P

Hi,

I want to reconfigure this to simply have an ethernet connection to my broadband router on Port 1 & to enable a device connected via Port 9 to use internet.

I say via Port 9, because I do have a Etheregen (fiber to rj45 ethernet switch) device connected directly to Port 9 via fiber ethernet & then a Mac Mini connected to the Etheregen via RJ45 ethernet. I don't know if this makes a difference. I doubt it.

Best wishes,

Jason

Thank you for your response alemabrahao.

How can I best do this?

Well, this is pure L2 communication, if your router has an active DHCP server and is configured on the same LAN as your Mac Mini, I don't see why it won't work.

I still don't understand what the question here is.

Broadband router connected to port 1. Mac Mini connected to port 9 (via a fiber to ethernet converter).

It's all good now, thanks. I was over-complicating things...
