Port aggregation

Hi guys. Need a little help with configuration. I'll describe my CURRENT config :

1st communication room Stack of

MS225-48 port 49 uplink port from master

MS225-24 port 25 uplink from slave

PORT 52 and PORT 28 aggregated

2nd room

MS225-48 port 51,52 aggregated

51 going to port 28 (1st communication room)

52 going to port 52 (1st communication room)

I'm about to add another MS225-24 to 2nd room (Will be stack with MS225-48)

Now the question is how im doing the aggregation correctly after i'll add another switch

NOTE: I have only 2 optic cables coming from 1st communication room to 2nd

Hope i was clear. Thanks !

Hi @Kirillg88

With my Limited Knowledge I can think of following Connectivity.

Kind of a big deal

If my understanding is correct you're just adding another switch to the 2nd room. Wouldn't you just uplink the new switch from the MS225-48 port 51,52 aggregated? It's already set unless you're doing something different.

Yes , im just adding another switch and i'll make a stack of 2 switches . How should i uplink the new switch from the MS225-48 port 51,52 aggregated if both of them connected to aggregated ports in 1st server room. Should i take 1 link to the new switch ? Then aggregate ports on the new switch and connect to 1st room ?

For example :

2nd room

MS225-48 port 51,52 aggregated port 51 to port 27 , port 52 to MS225-48 port 52 (1st room)

MS225-24 port 27,28 aggregated port 28 to MS225-24 port 28 (1st room)

Here's an example. You don't need to have 2 cables on 24 port switch lol I added just because.

That way is correct for redundancy. I just wasn't sure if you wanted to change your current config. @AjitKumar thanks. @Kirillg88 wasn't sure if you were going to stack the switches together in 2nd room which I should've asked.
