Port Security Alerts

Is there a way to have an e-mail sent to the administrators when a switch port cannot pass traffic because it's MAC isn't listed as allowed on the port? I assume you have to enable SNMP and have the alert sent through a third party alerting server, but it would be nice if this could be done from the Meraki dashboard.

Did not test it.

But at organization alerts you can configure a alert to send a mail or webhook for this alert

"Port not forwarding traffic due to access policy"

There is not a built in alert for this. You can always give feedback so it gets added to the official consideration list: https://documentation.meraki.com/General_Administration/Other_Topics/Give_your_feedback_(previously_...)

I just tested this and it works. Enabling that alert will e-mail you when the port is not forwarding traffic. Like with most solutions, it only tells you when there is a problem and not when it's resolved. I'm sure that using the SNMP traffic would give you the ability to get notified when the error was cleared, but this built in alert will help for now.
