Newbie Questions - Vlan/Polycom phones
Hi,
new and green to Meraki - got a problem getting a proper IP address to our Polycom phones.
Event log for MX shows
DHCP problem | extra: no_offers_received, vap: 0, vlan: 10 |
Setup is
MX 64 - several VLAN's - 1 - Maintenance, 2 - default, 10- VOIP
LAN1 (trunk) on MX - has VLAN 10 as native and all VLAN allowed
MS (120) is connected directly to LAN1 on MX
Port 1 on MS is uplink to MX with native VLAN 1
Port 33 that has a Polycom connect is access with Vlan1 and VLAN 10 for Voice
So what config needs to change for the Polycom to get a proper IP from VLAN10
Polycom phones are set up to use DHCP, no other special settings.
Any help is appreciated.
Axel

your polycom firmware is up to date?
why use two different native vlans on your trunks?, make both trunk the same .
if it stil l not works try test with access vlan 10.

The trunk between your MX and MS should have the same config on both sides. Native VLAN 1 and allow all (or allow 1,2,10).
