Modification to Switches

I need to change the hostnames, assign static IPs, and enable SNMP on a few switches in a production environment. Will this disrupt the network? The static IP address are in the same subnet as the current DHCP addresses.I will be doing this remotely without onsite support so I  want to make sure the changes will not disrupt traffic.

Assuming this switch is only doing layer 2 (no routing) it will not disrupt traffic flowing through the switch.
