Migration from Dell switch to Cisco switch

Hello,

I have to migrate  Dell switch to Cisco switch Meraki. So we have many Vlans on Dell and each vlan is assiociate to range on DHCP like this : lan association subnet 10.2.2.0 255.255.255.0 2

could you please tell me what is yhe same command on Cisco ?

Thank you

you just add the ports to the correct vlan @ switch > switch ports

if you want to relay, you go to switch > routing and dhcp

meraki is gui based. so you create a vlan, and enable dhcp service or forwarder on that vlan.

So, you mean I have 2 options :

1 enabled DHCP   or forwarder on vlan : with Bonjour Forwarding ?

forward to dhcp server(if you have one) . here is some documentation https://documentation.meraki.com/MS/Layer_3_Switching/Configuring_DHCP_Services_on_the_MX_and_MS

Is your Dell switch acting as a layer 3 gateway for these vlans?

What is doing DHCP in your network?

Layer 2

The if the Dell switches only operate at layer 2 then you only need to configure the VLANs and nothing else.

https://documentation.meraki.com/MS/Port_and_VLAN_Configuration/Configuring_Multiple_Switch_Ports_on...

As mentioned Meraki is a GUI based system, there is no CLI. I suggest you familarise your self with the Meraki Dashboard before you jump into swapping the equipment over just to be safe, You dont want to rush things if you dont havea good understanding of Meraki.

Good luck!

Hi, I got the switchs (MS-120). do you know how to create the vlan please ?
