MS425 or MS225 stacking over fiber?

Has anyone stacked the MS425 or MS225 over single mode fiber?

I have 2 server rooms about 100 meters apart, on floor 1, and floor 2.

Currently have 2 switch stacks with port channel between them.

Could stacking them with 40gig QSFP an single mode fiber work and be supported?

Actually, this capability (known as Flexible Stacking) is supported, but only on MS425 - and assuming you already have them, as they are now End of Sale.

More details on Flexible Stacking here:

This is not supported for MS225.

It would not be supported, only Meraki stacking cables are supported for official stacking. But I've read of folks doing as you described considering the actual build of the stacking cables is just sfps as you describe.

You can also only stack the same models.
