MS390 - uplink module

Hi All,

the new MS390 has 3 uplink cards option.

I have a question regarding the picture on meraki site:
https://meraki.cisco.com/products/switches/accessories

The option of 8x 10G Uplink module has the same image of 2x 40G.

The question is...

This image is wrong or for the 8x 10G?
or

it'll be available through QSPF+ breakout cable 4x 10G?

Kind of a big deal

Haha! Oops! That is probably the wrong image.

@MeredithW someone needs to fix the website 😉

I noticed the same error, how can the module 8x10G have only 2 spaces for the transceiver?

It is actually possible the image is correct. They could be using a breakout cable...

I just don't see this part listed on the Meraki page, which makes me think the image is incorrect. It's possible they're missing the breakout cable instead.

Yep, I think is possible too,

but is not clear.

The image is just wrong.

If you look at the switch image on this page: Main MS390-48 page
You'll see the correct module inserted.

Check the Catalyst 3850 or 9300 modules 😉

MS390 = Cat9300 😉

Typically on a 9300 series switch you would use a C9300-NM-8X, which has 8 physical ports.

Unless its two wired ports and 6 wireless connections 😂

10Gbit wireless... yes please, count me in 😄

We tried inserting a C9300-NM-8X into MS390-24U, but is not coming online.

We thought they were compatible, but I guess not
