MS225 - Status Page - Password recovery or reset to default password
Howdy Community,
First time post'r - arrived on site today to 4 of my switches being offline do to a DNS error that I thought I had resolved last night. I believe the switches revert to a previously known-good config because users are okay at the moment, but I would like to resolve as quickly as possible. The switches are reporting they don't have a link to the cloud. I did try the "turn it off and back on" technique but that didn't work.
I am however stuck at the login prompt for the local status page (connected via mgmt port) and the default admin / serial # isn't work (also tried username = to serial # without a pw and the serial # as both and admin as both), no success on any combination. How do I perform a reset for the password or perform a password recovery?
I did find an article saying a factory reset would clear the password, but I REALLY don't wanna have to do that.
Any ideas or point me in a direction?
Thanks in advance.

Factory reset is the only way to clear the password when cloud connectivity is down

Didn't you set a password in the dashboard?
