well, i was more thinking if there is any difference on the OS version and no so much features.

Like, is ver. 9 linux 3 and ver. 10 is linux 4 ... or is it only new features which makes the difference.

 

We don't know about the OS.  There are a lot of stability improvements in the 10.x code as well.  If you can. use the 10.x code.  It is much better.
