MS 350 FAN NOISE ?

I have a customer who is considering installing an MS350 in a small office environment.

His main concern is the fan noise because the equipment is pretty close to his desktop.

I didn´t find any noise measurement at the environmental specs.

Any experience that could be shared?

Do you really need the MS350?

There are also fanless models, like the ms120-24

In all seriousness the MS350’s could be overkill for a small office environment.

what are his switching requirements as some of the lower spec switches are fanless and run pretty quiet.

How about using WiFi instead?

Given he's wanting a MS350 I am assuming he wants 10Gbe. If so then theres not much he can do about the noise. 

If he doesn't require that speed I would go with a smaller model as suggested.
