IPTV on Meraki Network

Hi All,

we have implemented Meraki Network, the customer was using HP switches.

They have IPTV setup which is running on Meraki now. we are facing freezing issue in the IPTV network.

below is the connectivity diagram.

========================================================================

 IPTV Switch( Meraki ms225) ------10G FIBER -----Core switch stack(MS425)----10G FIBER-------(EDGE SWITCH)---- TV

===========================================================================================

We have three VLANs for IPTV ( 210 for tv), (221 for the encoders), and ( 82 for the IPTV server).

IGMP snooping is enabled on all switches and flood unknown multicast traffic is disabled.

IGMP enabled on 210 and 221 VLAN.

IGMP rendezvous point is configured for 221 VLAN.

Is anyone using the same setup, any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Nitin

Have you tried creating a traffic-shaping rule?

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.
