I've been bitten by the MS Power Supply Issue

This just a reminder to users that certain Meraki switches ship with power supplies that use the C15 power cord. Whats that you ask, its a cord with a keyed end which means if you didn't purchase one with the switch or have one on hand it stops you dead in your tracks.

Below are examples, the C15 is on the left and the regular C13 on the right.

Yep, had that one.

We have a whole lot of spares now with both C14 ends (for UPS and DCs) as well as standard 3 pin plugs.

I think they are commonly known as "notched" power cords.

Just edited what I wrote, I typed it in a rush and it didn't make sense. It should make sense now.

Some of the Cisco "classic" are the same. It´s strange we bought Cisco WS-C3850 switches with removabel power supplys for C15 , later we bought the same switches and the same power supplys (the same order number) and got C13 connectors on the power supplys. Really strange.

The Meraki MS225 and MS120 are still delivered for the old C13 cables.
