Access Control MS with sentry

Hello,

I configured the NAC on MS switch with sentry .

- The profile doesn’t seems to be pushed automatically , I need to clic on reinstall profiles in order to see something in the logs.

- The profile ( certificate ) is not pushed to the device and I have this error on all device :

- all macOS are affected , it works on AppleTV but need to click on “install missing profil for it to be pushed.

- We are using sentry also for WiFi (802.1x)

Update profile 'Meraki Ethernet (NAC)'

Kind of a big deal
Kind of a big deal

This is a long standing bug with Systems Managed and wired 802.1x on MS.

Hello @PhilipDAth

How long ? 😉

Where have you seen that ? Did you experiment the same ?

if I understand correctly we will be unable to use NAC with switch worst 8K Euros GPL ! Only works on AppleTV .

Pretty much all versions of MS release notes list this:

  • SM Sentry does not support Windows based clients (predates MS 10.x)

I read Windows .

We are all MacOS .

Hello all

Any Product Manager here ?

It start to be critical as we can’t deploy 802.1x

I've had a case open about this problem since last June that support just ignores or hands between tech to give me the run around. I'm ready to through Systems Manager in the trash.
