We have problems with MV21 cameras with firmware 4.8. In the live view of the web meraki we see cuts or "freezes" of several seconds.
Once the video is saved, the playback is correct.
This happens only when accessing via meraki portal, since from applications such as iOs streaming video does not suffer any stop.
Could it be a firmware problem with the camera generation?
We have informed ourselves a little about the advantages of the firmware 4.8:
Could this realtime affect older cameras (1st gen)?
Thanks
@IngensNetworks have you tried a different web browser, I find Safari doesn't work well for me but FIrefox does.
Yes... But this is not the case, in other cases we experimented problems with other web browsers such as firefox or opera (we work with Chrome.) But we have to add the fact that MV12 models are working fine... So this random freeze between 3-4 seconds to even 8-10 seconds only occurs in generation 1 models... Maybe due to this 4.8 firmware upgrades, adding low lattency functions (this function doesn't apply in old models), and maybe some main/general changes, degraded NOW (realtime) video for generation 1.

Restart camera? Reset camera?
If you rollback firmware, does the problem go away?
Have you tried viewing from different client/browsers/inside/outside and same issue?
So we still continue with same issue... 😞
Just wondering if you ever found a solution to this issue? Having the same problem with one of my cameras.
