Cameras> Cameras Lost the "View new version" option

I had enabled the new version display and all was good.

I then clicked on "view old version".

Now I no longer have the option to revert back the new version - the "View new version" is no longer displayed.

Anyone any idea why this "View new version" button is not longer displaying?

As if my magic today the "View new version" re-appeared.

I have therefore clicked it and suffice to say I wont be reverting back to the old again 🙂

Hi @Dunky

This is likely due to the gradual rollout of the new Magnetic design preventing a return to the older theme. There was previously the option to opt-in to it as an early access feature, but this looks to have been removed as we transition to Magnetic design as the default theme.

Please let me know if Support has provided any further context on this too!

Hi @JosRus

I've reverted to the older theme perfectly ok. This issue is I no longer have the option to go to the new one!

Support have said (back in Sept) "I've contacted our product specialist team and I'll provide un update as soon as I have any response from them."  I'm still waiting 😞

Hi @Dunky

Thanks for clarifying!

I see that an issue which matches your description was forwarded through the Support Product Specialist team on the 25th September; while I can't see the exact status of work performed now, it shows as assigned to an Engineer and is in the to-do state. It's likely that we will only be able to resolve that issue through the next update on the report attached to your support case, due to the fact that it's been forwarded as an actionable bug report by the team.

Yes, that's the date of the last update I have from the assigned engineer.

I guess its a waiting game 🙂
