Z3C - Cellular only not working after power loss?

Hi everybody,

We have a Z3C here which got its initial configuration through the dashboard.

It was running on cellular only as we did a power cycle by pulling the plug and insert it back again.

The device does not connect anymore with cellular only.

Firmware is 17.10.4

Anyone else seen this?

Have you tried a factory reset? Have opened a support case?

That should work.

If you put the SIM into a phone does the data portion still work?

A factory reset should not work. The docs say that the initial configuration cannot be done by cellular only.

I didn't open a support case yet because its not reproducible. So i wanted to ask if anyone else has seen that.

Cellular modem on Z3C can be buggy at times. Which cellular provider are you using? Are you doing static via cellular?

Provider is German Telekom using dynamic IP.

Do you have some links about this buggyness?
