WAN is down, MX is up !!!!!!!!

WAN is down, MX is up !!!!!!!!

HI 

I have wired issue happened 

I have MX67

It was showing up on the Meraki dashboard, and WAN is down

I was able to access the Meraki Dashboard with no issue and i was able to ping the local IP's but not the internet IP's 

How come WAN is down and i can access my Meraki ?

Is the MX able to contact the internet from a LAN port?

No from the LAN no internet connection 

But i was able to ping local PC from the Meraki dashboard 

but i could not ping 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 from the meraki dashboard

MX was UP, Switches UP, AP's UP 

BUT UPLINK was Red and shows Down 

 

Wired issue 

 

I have site to site VPN with another Maraki but i don't think its relevant at all

If a device unregisters from the dashboard or your WAN fails your internal network will still function.

 

I can’t explain how you were still able to access the dashboard however.
