WAN HEALTH shows offline uplink but they are all up and working.

Hi guys,

I have this problem in my Cisco Meraki dashboard where I see under Insight --> WAN Health some links marked as down, but they are actually up.

Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks

I suggest you open a support case.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Please, if this post was useful, leave your kudos and mark it as solved.

Yes, I agree, and I have opened a case with the support team to understand why they appear to be offline.

Thanks

What do your pings to 8.8.8.8 / other configured monitoring Ip's look like?

Are you 100% sure that WAN 2 on the affected device is up, have you tried manually routing / failing over to it to confirm?

I'm getting some weird reports on 18.211.2, particularly around loss measurements.  I know the WAN links I am looking at are working perfectly.

I think there could be a reporting issue in 18.211.2.

Personally, I'm going to do nothing and wait for another update.

Hi @PhilipDAth I am seeing the same on the loss reporting for the uplinks. is this what you are observing? i have been troubleshooting this for 4-5 weeks post the update to 18.211.2. The carrier states they cant see any loss on their end. The graph shows loss to all DNS resolvers 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4, Quad9, Cloudflare too. Screenshot 2024-07-09 105408.png
