Traffic logs on the Mx

Hi all,

is there an option on the mx to watch traffic logs?

for example on fortinet i have log&report for every session, with the details: src, dest, port, service, etc..

I can't find it on the Mx, Is it possible that these abilities doesn't exist on the Mx?

Thank you

For this log you need to setup a syslog server. Then enable the network to send flows to this syslog server ip.

If only there was ...

I've contemplated several times about writing a web page with javascript that acts as a syslog server to provide functionality like this.

@PhilipDAth That's an interesting idea!  Never thought about making a JavaScript based syslog server.  That could be very helpful sometimes.  I'm just not sure if it could run in a browser - I would think browser security would prevent JavaScript from being able to "listen" on a port for inbound traffic.

That is a good point.  I bet you are right
