NO-PROPOSAL-CHOSEN received in unencrypted informational exchange.

I'm trying to set up a non-meraki VPN. all I get is this no-proposal chosen error. I'm asking the remote team to send me any error logs they may have to see if their router sees something more useful than this message. My NAT-traversal is set to automatic. I've seen that be an issue a lot with this message.

Any ideas?

It means the settings are not the same on both ends.  It could be the source and destination encryption domains, or the crypto settings themselves.

Hi @trunolimit ,

Your best option is to get their engineer on the phone and you both go through the settings one by one.

Some companies are pretty good at this some not so. It does save time to’ing and fro’ if with logs etc.
