Meraki MX84 - Any config changes = reboot

Hello,

Anytime I make ANY config changes on my Meraki MX84 version 16.16, the device loses internet connectivity. The power light goes orange and then I need to reboot the device.

This surely cant be the expected behaviour? Its driving me nuts. It also means I can only do changes in the office.

Any advice would be appreciated.

thanks

Bred

Try upgrading to 16.16.7.

If it then still happens,  contact support.

In addition to the upgrade suggested by @ww I would also do a hardware-reset:

@Bred_85  Yes you are correct this is not normal behaviour. I would try what has been suggested above and contact support if neither of those rectify the problem.

MX84 is impacted by a brief reset on certain config changes. It's always been present. This is in all firmware version release notes.

But if you're seeing it go down and never come back without doing a reboot that's a different issue.
