Meraki MX release roadmap

Hi All

We have 90 x MX64 routers in our estate that have an End of support date 26th July 2027. These have been working away since 2015.

Currently the equivalent in support model is a MX67 - released in 2018. Is there any plans to release the next model this year?

Thanks

@JBOFL personally I would go for the MX75 as it is somewhat newer.  If you are purchasing 90 then you should get a good discount.

I've seen zero indications of new models coming, including as a partner. I would also add that the recent software changes have come with a goal of increasing the performance of the existing models and presumably extending their lifespan.

I would ask your account rep this question as its highly unlikely anyone who knows can comment on an open forum. Although I'm definitely all ears as well if someone would!

Whatever you decide to go with, I would suggest planning for long term growth (i.e. higher device count, throughput, and concurrent connection count).  If it were me, I'd look beyond the MX67/68 option.

As mentionned I would go beyond the MX67/68 unless you need built-in cellular.

I would say make sure you think of your future expansion for at least 3 years as well so go beyondMX67/68 for sure ..

@JBOFL Meraki much like other vendors does not publicly release their roadmap
