Meraki MX - identify what is behind a port

Hi, 

 

How or where can i identify what is connected to the LAN ports of a Meraki MX64 / MX80 ?

You can look at the arp table or client stats page to see the mac addresses, then look up the manufacturer in a mac address database. Really only works well if you have a few devices or something is jumping out at you.

You can use the LLDP/CDP API to detect the port a compatible device is plugged into. API link: https://developer.cisco.com/meraki/api-v1/#!get-device-lldp-cdp

But for non-LLDP/CDP devices (such as client devices), this is not possible currently and would be considered a feature request
